First face transplant in Spain

Valencia, Spain - new medical prowess. After 15 hours of surgery a man received facial tissue from a donor who was killed in a traffic accident. The individual 43 years of age became one of the few people in the world to undergo such surgery on his face.

According to medical reports the man received tissue from a donor 35 years of age who died in a traffic accident.

The reconstruction lasted about 15 hours and took place at the medical institute La Fe de Valencia. A team of 30 specialists was responsible for removing the donor's facial tissue and put them into the receiver.

The transplant included the repair of facial nerves, arteries and veins, the salivary ducts and the reconstruction of facial features.

Pedro Cavadas the surgeon said that the intervention will have to wait 72 hours for the results of transplantation.

Spain is the fourth country to perform such an operation. The first was performed by a French woman 38 years of age, the second Chinese man to 30 years of age and the third American woman 46 years of age.

The Ideal Friend

I think that a good friend should be a really good listener, and if he or she can't do it isn't even a friend, it is only someone known. And in second place, this friend should always say something about what he or she listens, for example: This friend should agree or disagree, then to explain why, and finally to be always honest.
A good friend should be tolerant, he or she is able to say his/her personal opinion, but, should never attack what he or she isn't agree, because it could hurt the other person, this friend can express his/her self in good terms, that's all!!
And the last thing, this friend should be supportive, because I think if this person is not able, or, doesn't want to do some things for you, is not the kind of person that you need at your side, you should do for this person what this person wants to do for you..........
